John Madden has died

Died today at 85.  Probably just as famous and well known for the video game as he is for his HOF coaching and broadcasting careers.  No cause of death listed, but was apparently unexpected.

Dang that's sad. RIP  :(

I'm at least a little happy that "All Madden" documentary was aired and Madden got to see it as well.

RIP.  The man brought me hundreds of hours of entertainment between his commentary and his video games.  He also introduced me to the turducken. 

He and Pat Summerall are the second best booth combo of all-time (behind Tommy and Mike).

Although, I'm also old enough to remember when NFL GameDay used to be far superior to the Madden series, in the early years of the PS1.
