Shayok was a G-League monster in his lone season there, in 19-20. I think he'll be one who shines

Watching Maine vs Long Island. I can see why the organization was intrigued with Davison. He's a heady player and obviously has the athleticism necessary for the next level. Good passer too. Samanic is having a big game and he's going to finish with 30. He's only 22, which I didn't realize.

How did Kabengele look?

Maine Cs had 23 turnovers in that game. Yikes. Young players! JD Davison’s box looks good except for that - 7 assists, 5 turnovers.

Addendum - in the two games before that, combined, he had 9 assists and 10 turnovers. I think we can see something for him to work on.

Had a big first half offensively -17 pts, 2nd half was pretty quiet.

He had a couple of bad TO's. He's definitely a work in progress and he may never make it. My point is you can see flashes of his potential. And he's a good reason for checking out Maine Celtics games.

Yeah, of course. He’s just starting his his pro career. Something to work on, not to say he’s finished.

Thanks, tp.  I’m wondering if he can be of help this season.  We need more rim defense and rebounding than the current backup centers are providing.

thanks for the video, it was a fun watch. it was only highlights, but the battling crustaceans that impressed me the most were:
- kabengele
- davison
- samanic

i had never seen samanic before, but he looked good in the video.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I went to the Maine Celts' second home game.  It was a good time.  The guy who looked best in that game overall was probably Shayok.  My brief observations for anybody interested: https://forum.celticsstrong.com/index.php?topic=107322.0

I just found Maine is playing live on NBC sports Boston.

Kabengele is having a big fourth quarter.  Semanic is having a good game too.  Here’s the box score: https://gleague.nba.com/game/ccg-vs-mne-2052200072?view=box-score

It's coming down to a final shot.  The Maine Celts are kind of choking this one away.

EDIT:  They closed it out.

I turned it on with 6 minutes left and they were down by 9.  They had a nice come back.  Kabengele is a joy to watch.  He’s always smiling and clearly loves playing.

I was surprised to see Kris Dunn playing in this league.
