We're not worse off than when we started. Let's see what happens.

We could have multiple players vying for end-of-season awards. Let's imagine that Tatum winds up starting sooner than expected, Brown starts from the get, with Smart first off the bench.

Rookie of the Year - Tatum
Most Improved Player - Brown
Sixth Man of the Year - Smart (and/or maybe DPOY)
Most Valuable Player - Irving

(Positivity, yeah!)
"Young man, you have the question backwards." - Bill Russell

"My guess is that an aggregator of expert opinions would be close in terms of results to that of Danny." - Roy H.

I could see Smart realistically winning DPOY.  He should be motivated, and with such an offensively-oriented team, his role may be more clearly defined and effect on that defensive end even more apparent.

Good call,  I'm exceptionally sleep-deprived right now.  All-Defensive team is more realistic, Kawhi, Green, or Gobert ought to snag DPOY.   I wonder how Smart's weight loss will affect his versatility. Hopefully he'll have quicker footstep b/c I think his bulk is what allowed him to guard bigs.

In the spirit of the thread, though, I'll say screw it... Celtics overachieve again in the regular season, and Smart finishes top 10 in DPOY voting and makes an All-Defense team.

Edit: You edited your post, Lol.  Now I just look drunk...

Lots of people have made good points from each side of the Kyrie/IT trade.

I'm glad Kyrie is a Celtic and want a place to share encouraging information, news, videos, and opinion about Kyrie.

Can't wait to see our new offense - hopefully Kyrie goes for 26, 9, 4, 2. The assists and passing is what I hope improve the most. For some reason I think Horford averages 4.7 more points per game this season. I'd want some insight from others about how they think Kyrie impacts the team.

I want to run a lot of 1-3 pick and role, so that Hayward can exploit opposing pgs. PnR with Al - I'd like them to keep getting Al open 3s from the top of they key. Horford might help the team more than we think playing with Kyrie and GH.

AH carried the ball up-court well, which would allow Kyrie to rest while on the court similarly to the way Steph can benefit from Draymond/KD bringing the ball upcourt.

Many people have made this point already, but I hope CBS lets Kyrie shoot 3s at the same frequency as Steph. He's great from outside. If he takes 8 3s a game it kind of helps our fast offense and provide a devastating heat check. Theres are a few things I'm excited for. Would like to hear other predictions on how he improves our team and becomes a Celtic.

Vs. The Wiz, hiding Kyrie on Otto Porter is a better matchup. Mostly, I hope he loves being a Celtic and works his ass of to become a tougher defender... Couple clips I like below.

If Tatum's rookie season=Bird's rookie season we'd probably get into the finals lol.

The Celtics have a lot to be optimistic about. They probably have the brightest future of the top 10 teams.

We are fortunate to follow this team!

Gordo's injury is not good, but it clears up 30+ mpg so that the young players can develop quicker. I think it takes a pessimistic to miss this point.
