Might be the only one here but Davis, James and bunch of misfits are not winning a title..Davis cant stay healthy, James is getting old and steroids only last so long..now the need a PG..Kyrie, Walker, Rubio?

They have a max slot still. And there will always be vets who want a ring before their careers end.

I think this actually puts chances at kyrie back on C's higher. The whole deal with kyrie was him signing with another star. KD is hurt... AD is on lakers. So who is going to knicks or Nets with kyrie? Kawhi?? His options are gone and he would have to oeave money on table...

Don't you think one of the reasons Danny didn't offer Tatum is because Kyrie told him he definitely wasn't coming back to Boston?  I do.

Still intends to hit free agency next year. Even after being traded to the Lakers. Say what you want about Danny he did the right thing not giving up the farm.

Yep, time to go young with the kids. Don’t even worry about meeting with Kyrie, as I don’t want him on the team sans AD or another big star acquisition, too. Not worth it.

Probably for the best, as AD’s head clearly wasn’t in the right place anyways. While I would’ve supported a Tatum trade for AD - if it cost not much more than that - I think it’s a huge risk, and I’m okay with not having the AD/Kyrie drama show at this point.

Can’t wait to see what the young’uns can do this year!

You never know. Dwight in his heyday was traded to the Lakers, their season was disappointing, and he walked away the very next summer.

Lots of people expected Kyrie to stay with the Celtics when he first got here, and look how that worked out.

He is the 3rd All-Star big for LAL in the past 20 years.

Shaq and Pau combined for 5 titles.

Now it's AD's turn to bring them another title.

Kareem 5 and Wilt 1, don't forget.

So how quickly do the Celtics make their next moves? I'm sure Ainge had a few options already lined up if this happened.

All I know is it's time to go full youth, let's pick a direction. I want to see the Jay's running the offense, all the pick and roll they can handle. Trade AH for assets (capela). Go for upsidecwith our picks, maybe try trading up.

Big question is do we keep Hayward, do we move him for even worse contracts and assets? How about we flip him for evan Turner and a first round pick? Just to throw something out there.

It's called the draft. June 20. That's our next move, bro.

There is no way they make all those picks. They will consolidate worthier for a veteran type player (not a star) or trade out for future picks.

I don't want Horford traded.

Yeah, it has to be the Jay and Jay show, but I still want veterans around, and Horford is one of the few who you can rely on to guide these kids to the right path.

If anything, I want him to sign a two year deal, so both his and Hayward's contract expires the same year, giving us massive cap relief and, who knows, maybe a max slot.

Yeah, I can't see Ainge using all of those picks. I expect a few moves soon.

Horford's deadline to opt in is also coming up before the draft.
