NBA Jam 2019 Offseason continues. Boomshakalaka!

LeBron - AD
Kawhi - PG
Westbrook - Harden
Kyrie - Durant
Steph - Klay
Lillard - McCollum
Doncic - Porzingis
Kemba - Hayward
Zion - Jrue
Simmons - Embiid
Giannis - Middleton
Conley - Gobert
Oladipo - Brogdon
Butler - Bam?
Towns - Wiggins

Lot of great duos out there now.
Butler - Bam?  Towns and Wiggins?  You're really stretching "great duo" beyond credibility.

Yeah might as well throw in Blake and D Rose if you're going that far.

I'd probably go Blake - Drummond

How about...
Gordon - Vucevic
Fox - Barnes
Barrett - Randle

You got to throw in the lesser teams that use against your little brother.

But the original point remains, today's NBA is deep in the 2 man game.
The first 5 duos are probably the top-10 players in the NBA:
LeBron - AD
Kawhi - PG
Westbrook - Harden
Kyrie - Durant
Steph - Klay

Though Kyrie may not belong, replace with Embiid.

So the 2024 pick is protected 1-4. What happens if Houston ends up keeping that pick? Does it convert to a 2025 1st rounder? If it does, what happens to the 2025 pick swap? Does that disappear or get converted to a pick swap in another year? And what happens to the 2025 pick swap if Houston is in the bottom 20? Could it be that OKC never sees either Houston pick? If so that pick haul isn't as good as it appears.
Both picks are only top 4 protected.  It is mostly like that OKC will get both picks and very unlikely that they'd get neither pick.

Kyrie isn't top 10 and neither is Klay.  Embiid and this Greek Freak fellow are.

Agreed.  Kyrie and Klay out, Embiid and Giannis in.

They'll be able to trade Chris Paul.

He is still a very good player.

I don’t see it. Unless they do they basically rented cap space for some future picks. Well they’re gonna suck regardless though right? lol

So when Chris Paul was on the Clippers we got his Clippers teammate DeAndre Jordan in State Farm commercials with him.

When he went to Houston we got his Rocket teammates Trevor Ariza and James Harden.

The time is right for a Chris Paul/Steven Adams State Farm commercial.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

CP to knicks?  CP to miami?  OKC be smart to burn a couple picks and move him if possible for expiring and younger cheaper guys.  Still be nice to get steven adams but his contract is just too rich...

If they dump that contract to anyone just for anything it’s a win win. Need to be calling up GM LeBron to get his buddy.

Minnesota - Dieng, Teague, Okobo

Orlando - Fournier, Augustine, and Isaac, or Fournier and Gordon

Miami - Dragic, Leonard, and Waiters

That's all I can come up with.

Did somebody say fit? Doesn't seem to matter.

What matters is the number of stars.

Everybody wants a championship these days in a year.

Which two stars will prevail?  ;D

Haha Morey has lost his mind.

desperation and pressure to win while they got Harden

i think it is his new boss or owner pressuring him  ....what i ve seen on tv , he is a hard case , steinbrener type that won't wait to win or build ,  he wants a result NOW and Morey property has his butt on the line to turn this around fast or look forva new job.

I understand not wanting to stand pat while you still have some good years with James H, but man Westbrook just doesn't seem to work with him.  Right now with OKC wanting to reset and reduce salary I am not sure how it works for them very well either.
Anyone know how many more years CP3 has on his contract?

OKC got a haul for picks, but they still have CP3s mammoth contract now.  How are they going to offload him?  I just dont get it.

Morey is making trades like a guy with nothing to lose. No real plan other than get star names and hope it works. This one will completely blow up in his face IMO.
