They are pressing with the starters. This is something they should be doing with Bradley and Pietrus when they are on the floor.

Loved the 2-2-1 zone press. Brilliant play call.

I love Rondo and Pietrus together. They seem to feed off each other's energy.

This is an audition for Brook Lopez ... to see how much Boston should be willing to pay for his services this summer as a free agent as a Plan B should Dwight Howard (as expected) go elsewhere.

How much would you pay?
A max contract if Brook Lopez starts rebounding like he did in his first two seasons (below average but serviceable).

If his rebounding continues to suck for the rest of the season, that would talk me out of pursuing him pretty fast. What I'd be willing to offer, New Jersey would certainly match (~$10mil per annum).

Wouldn't they renounce Brook if they got Dwight?  Eh, probably doesn't matter.  If Nene got what he got, Brook will probably get max money from someone.

If you are watching right now, wondering; why is this team playing so well without Ray and O'Neal? Is it because they are playing the Nets? The answer is no.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I'm coming around to the start Pietrus movement. Ray could get a lot of looks off the bench and Pietrus is a more physical presence to start the game. I still think it would mess with the egos and chemistry of the the Big 3 though.

Start a petition. I'd sign it and donate to the cause.

The Nets are really horrible, though...

Notice Pietrus does not stop at the 3 point line on the fast break.

Full court press changed game complexity. I think it was Rondo's decision to press full court.
