They announced at the DVD premiere party last night that the DVD set will include all Finals games plus the Cavs Game 7.  I'm a little disappointed since last year for San Antonio they released all 16 playoff wins:

Sorry for the separate thread but I didn't want this to get lost with the highlight package DVD just released.  The box set will be release in the fall...

Clarification - the link contains all 4 finals games from all 4 titles = 16 games.

Miami however got all of the ECF and Finals:

Thanks for the update.  I would have preferred all of our games from Game 7 against Cleveland onward, but oh well.  They're not including any of the Detroit games, though?  That's sort of strange.

Still, I'm psyched for this.

well the celtics did play 26 playoff games this year so to include them all... well you'd have like a 26 dvd collection. not very practical. and i've also never been the one to go and watch more than say 1 game over again... i just want to highlights.

No need for the losses...none were all that memorable like game winning shot.  I'd like the 16 wins though...

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
Other than what's on there, I'd like

- Atlanta Game 2 (for Bibby taunting if nothing else)
- Atlanta Game 7
- Cleveland Game 5
- Detroit Game 3
- Detroit Game 6

Only one I have saved on TiVo is Detroit Game 6, shame to think I won't get to see any of the rest again (none are really ESPN Classic-worthy).

I'm with you on all those games!  The Atlanta Game 7 is a boston fans dream from start to finish...complete domination.  4th quarter of game 6 is priceless....being 12 down and then rolling in those final 6 minutes.  Game 7 vs. Cleveland is great just because you can watch a legendary matchup of Lebron & Pierce going at it.  That game will always be special just because of the will those 2 had to get the job done.

You can pre-order it on Blu-ray and it is estimated to ship around 7/22.

Well, I have to say that I was really disappointed with the DVD (it came yesterday as I had pre-ordered it on Amazon).  Horrible review and comes nowhere close to actually telling a story and the narrator is nothing like the "I Am A Celtic" show that they did.  Basically, the DVD is a regurgitation of that show with some clips from the playoffs added on.  I wish I had waited for the DVD Box Set so that I could get the actual games as this DVD is a waste of money IMO...
