I will pick Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay).  He looked good last week, which means he'll probably suck this week.

We have the match ups ready for the next round of playoffs.  Redz is first on the clock starting Monday after the final games today.  Picks will be in seeding order.  I ask that everyone please check in regularly to see if they're up.  I'll do my best to track the picks and send an IM when someone is up.  Please do not wait for me to PM you.  If it's your turn to pick, please go ahead and do so in the thread.  If you don't think you'll be available to pick when your turn comes around, send me a PM and I'll make the pick for you.

If there's a long delay during someone's time to pick, I'll use my discretion to make the pick for that person in consideration of those whose picks follow that player.

ALL PICKS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE KICKOFF OF THE FIRST GAME THAT SATURDAY (1/16)

Roy's in with the last pick.  for a quick recap on how we're proceeding, it's now based on top 4 performances rather than the head-to-head.  The head-to-head above is all in fun.  Best of luck to all.

I'd like to repeat as champion but I doubt that will happen since I won't be picking near the end each round and having everyone else save me from my preferred picks who continually underperformed.

not to worry Redz.  I think you and I will be carrying on last postseason's tradition of the top seeds getting knocked out each round.  Not optimistic that Ben and Peyton aren't going to keep throwing until their arms fall off.

picks in order of seedings.  I'm up first as the highest remaining seed.  I will IM everyone when their pick is up.  If your pick is due, please don't wait for my IM, please go right ahead and post it to the thread.

2 highest totals go through to the finals.  the head-to-head is just for fun.  Best of luck to everyone remaining in the playoffs

We have always re-seeded with each round, but I'll go with the popular vote, I guess.

This is from the Pick A Player Total Yards Playoffs thread, and we repeated it each year ... if you want to change it, no biggie ...

Just to clarify: Because the NFL Playoffs are one-and-done-type games, (and not series like the NBA & MLB), we decided that the during the post-season of PAPTYG, re-seeding would be renewed for each round, and everyone would start with a clean slate, so-to-speak. Meaning that wherever you end up in the first round, that's where you are for the next, (excluding the first-round byes).

Will we be re-seeding every week or just this one?
** The top six scores from the Wild Card Round will move on to the next round and we will re-seed for each round. Order of re-seeding will determine the order of picks, so please be aware of your placement and make your pick in a timely manner. If you're going to be busy you can send me a list of picks in order of preference, (one round at-a-time), and avoid having to keep an eye on the thread all weekend, (as I will be doing so). Thanks, and the best of luck to everyone. **
