Having Vucevic will allow the Celts to play inside-outside basketball.

I would not be so sure of that, we had Moose and CBS was unable to use him effectively.

It would also allow opponents to score at will on us.
Center that can't defend nowadays better be a Hakeem or Kareem on the other end, Vouch is a good offensive center but not that type of a gamechanger.

Does Gordon Haywood for Bradley Beal and a player interest anyone? I believe a salary match could be worked out...

I mean, if you're gonna trade the guy at least get his name right :P

i don't Trust Stevens to use a center to score either.   But we don' have Curry and Klay to bomb away .  CLANG goes Roziers bricks

The difference is Greg Monroe is garbage, and Vooch is a borderline all-star. To blame Brad Stevens for that reeks of couch coaching.

The difference with Monroe is he can only defend the low post.

Greg Monroe is one of the worst pick and roll defenders.

Brad Stevens does not play players who don't defend well.

I think Ainge will end up trading for a big at the buyout deadline...possibly Dedmon or Lopez. We definitely need another big to combat the Sixers, Bucks and Raptors c ok me playoffs.

Dedmon is a solid player.

But I'm still curious what Williams can do in limited minutes. In my view he hasn't failed as of yet. And there's also Theis, who isn't a big athlete but a player who is tough, has fundamentals and provides a broad scale of skills.

I think it's more about Stevens' reluctance to put an emphasis on size, post defense, rim protection and rebounding in his units.
