Lol look where experimenting with dumb lineups and being cute with the minutes gets you. Ridiculous.

The Celtics have had one full practice since the season started, and zero since Morris came back, after the preseason work was largely wasted because Hayward got hurt.
Of course there are going to be weird lineups, because when else is Brad going to get to try them.

Besides, I’d much rather have a coach that tries a lot of different things in the regular season than just the couple things he knows work most of the time.  If that’s your style, go watch Scott Brooks in Washington.

Practice has nothing to do with it. He's went to this same full bench lineup that A TON of people (including national media guys like Zach Lowe) have been harping on since the beginning of the season.

It's not that difficult of a concept to stagger guys, which has been one of the few persistent criticisms that have followed Brad throughout his NBA tenure. He's always had difficulties with these types of rotation problems and leaving failing units in too long.

This has nothing to do with Hayward's injury and little practice time; it's been one of Brad's few weak areas for the last four years.

Beautiful pass by Smart to Kyrie.

Somebody needs to say it.   ;D

Smart at his best

He needs cutters working to be in position.

Smart shooting in the paint is a much better option than Smart at the 3

Thank you, get in the paint where you can actually hit free throws.

This. Even if he shoots poorly from the paint too, at least if he gets fouled, he can hit free throws.

Smart can’t shoot but hits fts. Jaylen can shoot but can’t shoot fts. Someone explain!

Again, I'm a Smart fan -- but I am cringing every time he gets any open space.  D is giving him room because he can't make them pay. At least the drives can get him to the line, but no trust in his shot.  A predictable 1-8 so far tonight.
