Would be easier for me to be on board with Sullinger , if it was ANYTHING but a "BACK" issue....
.....anybody old enough to have ever had back issues knows what I'm talking about. TO ALREADY have issues 20-30 years before most people start to get them is just NOT GOOD. NBA life is HARD and if his back is marginal or has issues already at this young age , then the NBA will certainly speed that wear and tear up. Making him very old before his time.
He may play good 4 games , 4 months , or four years . So if you take him..... expect long periods of DOWN TIME., is this going to upset you ?
Threads of "WILL SULLINGER ever BE BACK " I can see em now. Will he be able to play up to his first 4 games or first 2 years ? I see anothe Amaire in the future. But maybe he'll be good for 2-4 years ...its a gamble.
If it was ANYTHING but a back , I'd be pitching for him....
Also .... his issues MAY make him timid and play with less intensity then he could trying to save himself.
IF you draft him ...have to think SHORT TERM career .
