My first reaction was, well... I don't know what to think. Most likely, the look will grow on me, I just hope it won't become a huge trend and I hope the Celtics never do something like this. Obviously, they are doing it to sell more jerseys in Europe and other regions, where many people like to wear soccer shirts/jerseys. Smart move by the Dubs organization and Adidas.

If you had a long game, an overtime maybe, wouldn't your sweat just make the sleeves really irritating and mess with your shot?

I haven't seen "live" the new material they make these jerseys from, but I know it's much different than the old material. Anyone who has ever played in a real basketball jersey knows how sweaty they get during a game  ;D

Anyways...

Look at the pattern from the shoulders and on down. You could probably do a pattern down the sleeves, I guess.

The sleeves would fit tight, of course.

It's uhhh, meh. I don't like it.

Being a Warriors fan as well, I hope they discontinue this. Most of my folks don't dig it as well, heck, my friends and their friends don't dig it. What is up with the Dubs?

Perhaps a "speed skating style" body suit to increase speed?  :-X

I run long distances and those tight compression style shirts don't really have that affect.  Regular old T-shirts do, but not the compression wear.  The shirts appear to be the compression style stuff so I suspect that won't be an issue.

Not a fan.

And I like others would think the sleeves would effect my shot negatively and restrict my arm movements.

I like I like. Lower the temp in the building one degree and save a ton of money and energy and make the other team cold.  Maybe pull up the socks too

I dig it... I'm not afraid of change.

But it shouldn't bother the act of shooting, of course.

UGLY!!!

Despite apparent perception, basketball players' underarms really aren't their most attractive features.

Good thing that I don't have to wear one of those!

I would look like Michael Sweetney, if I did.

More space to utilize when they get around to allowing ads on jerseys.

Not as bad as I'd expect them to be.  That being said, I hope it doesn't become the norm, either.

We are trying way too hard with jerseys.

Dwight Howard is thrilled with this at least.

Did they play a game with those new unis yet? The whole idea of a sleeveless uniform is to not impede arm movement in a game where shooting is key.

Maybe this new uniform is the only way to cool off the outside shooting of Curry (45% from three).  Sleeved basketball jerseys make no sense to me at all.

Very unflattering for a player with long, skinny, cut, arms, which is a pretty typical NBA body type.

Sleeves do not belong on basketball jersey's, it's stupid.  I couldn't care less what parts of a basketaball players body are attractive or not.

It makes perfect sense for the NBA....

The current jerseys do not provide enough advertising space...

In order to properly desecrate the beautiful traditional jerseys one must change their form to provide more surface area for the greed to be properly applied...
