I think there after

1) a combo guard
I think Terrence Davis is the first choice.
Terrence would be my preference I would have Austin Rivers as a backup, fit-wise and combo of skills.

2) 2 bigs, I think Blake or Kornet will take up one spot, and probably Grant Williams takes the other

I would look at Hernangomez for the Blake/Kornet spot, I would match Grant at the MLE or less, otherwise try and sign JaMychal Green or Watford as an alternative.

Whoever this year's equivalent of Vonleh is, that's who we're going to end up with, I think.  A third of our roster being filled with guys who won't contribute.  We'll keep Kornet, Champagnie, Waslsh, Davidson.

And I don't think we'll bring Grant back..

Hopefully I'm wrong, but this seems like a repeat of last year, minus spending the MLE.  The good players all go early.

What about Dzanan Musa?  6-8 SG for Real Madrid looks like he has turned into a flamethrower. Was on the Nets a few years ago but was really young. Just 24 now.

Keep Luke, Hernangomez instead of Blake.

I'd still love Terence Davis at the minimum if he's available. 26 years old too, and a nice 3-and-D spark

I don’t expect them to remain.  They’re non-guaranteed — right now they’re potential salary-filler if we need to make a deal.

I think we will get one more legitimate player whether that is Davis or someone else. We do seem to think kornet is worthy of a roster spot which I still don’t get.

I was just thinking the same thing.

Sick of the sight of his name. We know the guy sucks. Can we just move on from him? Please?

I wanted us to snag him but I guess he wasn't ready. Glad to see him making progress.

Yeah, but you predicted the same thing about Kornet last year (and logically so).

This is true, although they did cut him and resign him, so I was half right?

EDIT:  Brain cramp and confused what they did with Kornet with what they did with Jabari Parker, whom I similarly said would be gone.  All wrong, and now extra wrong.

Spotrac has six players listed as starting caliber free agents:

Malik Beasley
Christian Wood
Kelly Oubre
Mason Plumlee
Miles Bridges
PJ Washington

Their list of rotation players is longer:

Eric Gordon
Will Barton
Mo Bamba
Dario Saric
Lonnie Walker IV
Hamidou Diallo
Kendrick Nunn
Corey Joseph
Torrey Craig
Ish Smith
Romeo Langford
Terence Davis
Justice Winslow
Derrick Jones Jr.
Matisse Thybulle
Grant Williams
Bismack Biyombo
Austin Rivers
Blake Griffin
T.J. Warren
JaMychal Green
Montrezl Harrell
Juan Toscano Anderson
Javonte Green
Jaylen Nowell
Omer Yurtseven
Paul Reed
Ayo Dosunmu
Dalano Banton
Luke Garza
Wenyen Gabriel
Terrence Ross
Justin Holiday
Cody Zeller
Anthony Lamb

They've got some guys listed as "fringe" that I like more than their "rotation":

Aaron Holiday
Willy Hernangomez

I can't imagine that Gordon takes a minimum deal; there are still teams with exceptions left, and the Clips can always resign him at a cheaper deal.

There's Grant, who I'd probably bring back at this point, assuming he doesn't get more than the MLE.

Then, I don't know.  Cut Kornet and Champagnie, bring in a couple of vets.  Biyombo?  People seem high on Terence Davis, so maybe Brad can sign him?  There are still a few solid options at SG/SF.  But basically, a swing and a center, just like last year.

Timelord / Horford / (Biyombo)
Porzingis / Grant
Tatum / Hauser / Brissett
Brown / (Davis)
White / Brogdon / Pritchard

Walsh or Davidson get the 14th spot; the other gets the 15th if we fill it.

Tatum
Brown
KP
White
TimeLord
Brogdon
Horford 7
PP 8
Brissett 9
Hauser 10
..................... That's 10 down so far.
Kornet 11
Watford 12 (Cheap Grant replacement)
Craig or Davis 13
???????. 14. Bring back Champagnie or Blake Griffin?
Euro Guy 15 (Yam Mader or this Musa guy)
2 way  - Walsh. Davidson, and a summer leaguer like Vincent Valerio-Bodon or Udoka Azabuike.

For that 14th spot could go with a small ball 4 like Derrick Jones Jr or Justice Winslow. Maybe Brissett already covers that.
