Jordan Brenner of The Athletic is reporting Boston will be one of four teams in pursuit of the 31-year-old guard, with the Jazz, Pacers and Pistons being the others.

Their involvement will raise the price for the Celtics, much like what happened throughout the Anthony Davis trade talks, and may make Conley unattainable for Boston.

This rumor makes no sense after what happened today.  Why would we be pushing for an expensive vet point guard?

A lot of these articles are not keeping up with the info. The Ringer just put out a feature article a few hours ago about the Celtics that assumes they are on track to resign Horford.

I'd like to see the Celts trade Hayward for Conley and use their cap space on the front court by getting Randle and Cousins
