Four players aged 37 years or older have started on Championship teams.

Well, I believe one of them is Kareem... I give up.
Yes he is and he is the only player to do so on multiple occasions.

He did so three times -- 1985 when he was 37, 1987 when he was 39 and 1988 when he was 40.

Incredible achievement.

Robert Horry?

Nope -- starters only

Players who were 37+ years old that started on Championship teams

I wouldn't be able to guess anybody before 1994 b/c that's when I became a fan.  Other potential players coming to mind are David Robinson and Alonzo

David Robinson is one of them (2003). Two down, two to go.

Oops, missed that whole "starters" thing.  Did Finley start for the Spurs in '07?  He must have been pretty close.  Ahh I give up...

Finley was only 34 in the 2007 Finals

Yes, only guard on the list. The other three were bigs.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Tim Hardaway holds the single game record for the most shots missed without making a basket (0 out of 17).

Bubba Wells fouled out in 3 minutes playing in a Bulls vs Mavs game.

The Lakers cheated us the championship in 2010 (Well, that's not really interesting, but it sure is useless).
I like Marcus Smart

The Pacers, Celtics, and Clippers are the only teams without any international players.  And every player on the Pacers and Clippers went to college for at least 1 year.

Mutombo never played for a championship team, did he?

I've checked Rodman, he was 36. No idea on who can be. PJ Brown started that game for Boston in the '08 finals when Perkins injured his shoulder, but I'm assuming it's a regular starter. Probably someone from the 60s or 70s.
