I finally got my hands (and mouth) on some Sam Adam's Octoberfest.  It's tasty - though I think my current favorite Sam's is the Honey Porter.

i just got my first taste of this years Oktoberfest and it was as good as i remembered. my favorite Sam's has to be Double Bock.

There really isn't a bad Sam Adams, and its an American beer.

Yes, indeed. Was in Berlin a couple summers ago, and tried it for the first time there. True liquid refreshment for the soul.

Here's a topic that should be revisited periodically.

Anyway, my current fave is Ommegang Abbey Ale (Dubbel) (brewed in Cooperstown, NY).  Brewed (as the name implies) in the style of Belgian Abbey Ales.  It is delicious imho, and is nearly half the price of some of the Belgians I like, like Chimay Blue, etc.  An excellent value for an excellent beer.

So... what are you drinkin, gents?

TP for the Ommegang shout out.  That stuff is incredible!!!

I hope you tried this one as well.
In my opinion, it's even better!

Here's what I'm enjoying at the moment:

I also like all it's other friends at
Willemoes/Vestfyen, which is a Danish
brewery  :)

Dark Lord from Three Floyds Brewery.

Completely destroys any other stout I've had.

Three Floyds also a great brewery.  However, I think that Dogfish Head's World Wide Stout is the best I have ever had...although for $9 a 12 oz bottle or $50 a 6 pack it should be!  Well worth it.  A true beer snob brew.

I'd go with Dundee's.

1. Cuz it tastes good
2. It let's me get away with a few more Office references a night.

Have not yet tried it, but like Belgian Quads.  One of these days.
