Going with the sweep. I think they remember last year’s series and pull their heads out of their butts this year and close this one out quickly, especially with no Jimmy.

And lol at people actually choosing the Heat.

Game one is crucial. Win the first game at home for once

Celtics better prepare for every junk zone. That’s what spo will resort to. Heat can’t guard Boston straight up

If they didn't spend all the past week practicing against a zone or devising a plan then that's on the coaches. Porzingis himself should also be able to disrupt it.

There is zero reason the C's should feel spooked against a zone like the Sixers did the other night for long stretches of the first half. They've also played Miami in the playoffs 3 of the last 4 years, they should be used to it.

Feels like we have had too many Celtics/Heat playoffs games. Especially dating back to the Pierce/Garnett/Allen days. This rivalry runs deep.

Gentlemen sweep. I expect Miami to get hot from 3 and steal 1 game.

Celtics in 5.  We can easily sweep, but I'm anticipating at least 1 game in each series moving forward where our 3 pointers aren't falling but we keep shooting them at high volume.  If we can adapt to this then we'll sweep.

Win the first two and the Heat fans won’t even show up!  ;)

Celts in 5.  Shooting all those 3s will cost a game on a bad shooting night.

I have grown to HATE The cHeat more than I hate The Lakers, which I never though was possible...C's in 5 IF THEY COME ready to play, if not C's in 7.

Spo makes subtle changes to it each time which throws other teams off, like he goes from a 2-3 to a 3-2 or a 1-1-3 zone to make it hard to pick initially. Or they will start off man to man full court then switch to a 1-3-1 at halfcourt. So the other team thinks there's in one type of zone coverage but then it's actually another. Or they will run a box and one. It's all to create uncertainty in the other team to make their reads take longer to do. It's all designed to mess with people's minds, especially against a team of mental midgets.

Was just on Youtube watching the recap of Games 4, 5, and 6 of last year's ECF.

Game 6 was amazingly crazy at the end. Old pal Marcus Smart jacking up that ATO 3 and then Derrick White with the series-tying putback leaving the Miami crowd stunned and in disbelief, forcing Game 7 after being down 0-3.

The C's need to make this personal with the Heat. And now they got newcomers Jrue and Porzingis to support.

Don't think the Heat can score enough. Last night vs the Bulls only 47 points at the half and the Bulls are not a good defensive team.

Heat will live and die on Boston turning it over to generate offense. Did this vs Philly and Bulls. When that does not happen and the Heat have to play half court offense they suck.

Who is actually picking the Heat besides Twitter trolls? Even with Butler they aren’t the same team, and the Celtics are seemingly better with one of the most dominant regular-seasons ever.

It's a real shame that White game-winner has been forgotten because we lost the following Game 7.

I will say, I'm sort of hoping with Smart gone at least some of our bad habits will go away. Sorry but for all the winning plays and hustle he provided, he really did bone us in certain games as well. And don't forget, even the 2022 ECF Game 7 when he was bricking every shot and allowed MIA to almost complete the comeback if Butler hit that 3. If he did, Smart would have become enemy #1 and run out of town that same offseason lol. And lets face it, last year he fell off defensively and was far from his 2022 DPOY-self. This team doesn't have an ego and guys are more locked into their roles which is nice. Smart is an awesome role player, not a "Big 3 with the Jays" member like he thought he became here.
