TNT originally wanted to air D-Wade's last home game in Miami but because of scheduling issues, will air this game instead
so the gave up on Wade's last game for the Celtics subs  :D :D

The Celtics have signed Jonathan Gibson with their final roster spot.  He is reportedly with the team and should play tonight.

and the world will be a better place for being exposed to the C's bench brigade than the last game of Mr Dirty.   only downside is there may have been a chance Gabriel Union was at that Heat game.

Yeah, here's hoping for a fun game that the Celts ultimately lose, thus helping our draft pick, helping the Memphis pick roll over... and it costs us nothing.

Don't know if this was pointed out before, but for those who complained about the Celtics using their best players vs the Magic, maybe Brad felt he owed it to the other teams in the East fighting for a playoff spot (e.g., the Heat) to play his starters.  Tonight there are no playoff implications, so there is no reason to play anyone.

i remember few years back when Philly was in the worst of tank modes .

Thee Heat was tanking too for a better pick i think it was the last game of the season.   It seemed player were using opposite hands to shoot threes, watch ball go out of bounds no effort , passes picked off or telegraghed worse than 8 grade basketball.  Was not something I would have been happy to paid money to see.

It is very real, the C's brought their 2 two-way players and the newly signed Gibson and I think just 7 regular players to Washington.

Kyrie, Horford, Tatum, Marcus, Marcus, Hayward all didn't make the trip.

Are people gonna get mad that they're not there on the bench in street clothes supporting their teammates?
