As many know, Nas' 10th album dropped on July 17th
Two words for that album... Instant Classic

It feels like a movie that you can't stop watching. Every track connects to each other. You can see Nas' passion on this album is very evident. He poured his soul into this one

Its been 20 years since Nas stepped on the scene. With Classics like Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic and now this album, he's no doubt the Greatest MC ever IMO

His discography and conceptualism trumps any other artist in history

Do ya'll agree?

No. I'm not really a fan of rap... I do like Pac though. Ehh, it's a matter of taste, so the question could go on forever... much like the greatest singer ever.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
DMX is a very passionate rapper.

I do like Nas, but a lot of DMX's content in his songs are superb and really get to you. They're my pump up songs before games even though they have little to do with sports.
I like Marcus Smart

Nas is the best MC to ever do it. Honestly. He's definitely the most skilled but he's my 2nd favorite.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I'll cosign the OP. What took this thread so long? I've been bumping life is good for a while now. Very mature album I love it definitely a classic. Lupe is good, but a bit overrated around these parts.

I like Lupe's music too
Did you hear about the beef he had with Pete Rock?
He was mad Lupe used his "They Reminisce Over You" instrumental. To me Pete Rock sounded bitter

Honestly Pete Rock comes off as a hypocrite in this situation. He himself sampled the track. Crying because another artist sampled a sample is pitiful.

It's completely open to opinion of course, but for my opinion, 2pac without a doubt.

Nas it up there but I have a difficult time declaring him GOAT, Jay-Z has been going at it strong for a while and has more great albums. Granted I haven't listened to the new Nas.

Joe Budden is the most underrated MC in the game.
