According to Basketball Reference, Jayson Tatum is the 15th player in NBA history to reach the 10,000 point milestone before age 26.

Looking at that list, he can probably pass AD and maybe Booker, which would put him in some pretty elite company.

Also, holy crap KD. Just being that close to LeBron is pretty crazy considering that KD played a year of college while LeBron didn't
I'm bitter.

He has 51 games until the game on March 3rd. If he played them all and averaged 25, he'd score 1275, which would put him 40 behind Booker.  I doubt he plays all 51, but he also will likely score more than 25 ppg. So he should pass everyone before Booker and if he stays healthy should pass Booker even with a couple games off.  If he misses a handful of games, then Booker becomes more difficult to catch.

IF he passes booker to go into 6th place, and 3 of the 5 others above him played no college so...KD, Carmelo, and tatum.  Of the 3 JT is the most complete player...both sides of the ball.  good company.  He also played on contenders virtually every year, so sharing was caring :)

This is interesting. But where is the love for Bob McAdoo. He didn’t start in the NBA until he was 21 years old. And he is way up on the list. Bob McAdoo is an underrated all-time great player.

Very true, somewhat of a forgotten star, with the caveat that he was a bit of an empty calories type of guy. McAdoo really struggled to have post-season success until he joined the Lakers later in his career.

I am more surprised seeing Dwight Howard on this list. He was such a limited offensive player, yet was only two points shy of Shaquille O'Neal at the same age. Obviously Howard came into the league much young than Shaq, but for a defensive specialist, he still was able to put up remarkable offensive numbers.

I still wonder if Howard had actually gone to college for a season, or had been drafted by a team with better veteran leadership, he may have behaved differently.

Howard missed just 7 games his first 7 years in the league.  That helps a lot with this sort of stat

It killed my coaches and dad as I tried to emulate his jumper form/release from a young age it just felt right to me and it worked ,   I still shoot  that way.

Yeah, It says he is the only Celtic to be any good with only 0 or 1 year of college.

Jayson Tatum played his last game as a 25 year old tonight.

He’s currently at 11,349 points.

Apparently, McAdoo still kills current NBA guys in shooting games. I love that.
