Am I crazy to be bummed Embid is missing the game?

The Celtics need to wake up and as Ainge said - show up planning win instead of showing up planning to play a game. For that reason it might have been better if Embid were playing. 

But first game after they find out that they're missing their star - expect a big effort from the Sixers tonight.  The Celtics had better not come out flat again.

Celts and Sixers meet again in 3 weeks.

Embiid will most likely be out again in that game as he will have surgery on the injured hand.

It'd be nice to beat Embiid.

It'd also be nice to beat the Sixers, regardless of who they put out there.


I'll be happy if the Celts win tonight even though Embiid isn't playing.

You were right to be bummed. An Embiidless Sixers team just embarrassed the Cs - can't get much lower than this for this Cs team.

I don't care if we got beat by the Sixers, I would have wanted to see us go up against Embiid. He's been the focus of this entire site for the past 2 months, worrying about how we're going to counter him in the playoffs. So may as well get as much data points as we can.
