The +/-'s for this game are comical.

Tatum was clearly the best player on the floor, and that was clear by his + 24 (!)in a 3 point win for us. But Morris (?!) of all people was the only other one in double figures at + 13. Noone else was better than a +4.

So I just finished watching the game...and even though I knew we won it was still exciting because I did not know how I guess.

That woman that called the game should be on sixers staff and coach them ..sheesh is she from philly or something?

Embiid  dunks on Al and she goes into what can only be described as orgasmic fits.

DB? ;) ::) ;D

Yeah

the media have put Simmons on a pedestal.....and everybody clings to the mass media outlet talking heads ......

we know where their heads are actually located ...

not on their shoulders

No one is talking about Tatum getting 3 fouls in the first half, and Stevens leaves him on the floor which paid off.

Did the same with Brown if not mistaken.

Brett Brown's postgame interview was ... interesting.

He passively threw Simmons under the bus. He blamed the Sixers youth and then took that back.

He couldn't put his ideas together.

He was talking about the game that Ginobli hitting a bat out of mid-air.

Funny how I was called every misogynistic name in the book for saying that Burke was out of her league - but then almost everyone on here agrees with my assessment. Guess I was a little too direct and blunt.

I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all on this thread!  ;D

I was outside with family so couldn't watch the game, but had this forum game thread up almost the entire time (lol). Was frustrating at times with connection errors on the site and occassionally my 4G/LTE going slow depending where we were, but was great to follow along the game with everyone's posts here!

Throughout all the frustrations, raging at refs, raging at missed FT's, praising folks, celebrating makes, it was a hard fought win and a battle that we won at the end. The end of the 4th definitely gave me a heart attack as connection problems hit again on this site, but I was seeing some folks like Kaufman and others on Twitter talking confetti, "OH MY GOD", etc. lol  :P

Who prioritizes family over a C's playoff game??  :P
My wife, apparently, since she chose a girl's night out so I'm solo parenting for the night :)

Lol. Depending on the age that could be bad - or really bad.

Luckily we got our baby to nap through most of the game. So my wife watched most of the game with me. During the 4th and OT she was like, "How the hell do you do this all of the time? My heart is about to explode with nervousness!" lol
He's 3.5 and has always had a mega late bedtime (past 9pm). We even watched part of the game together, but he doesn't have attention span for more (unless it's Paw Patrol or Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom, apparently).

My wife travels a lot for business so I've been doing this pretty much since he was born. No biggie.

She was bad enough when she was calling women's college basketball games, but once she started to emulate Momma There Goes That Man ::), I mean, yeah. When Pierce hit one of his postseason daggers against the Raptors as a member of the Wizards, I can still hear her saying, "he/that is a baaaaaaaaad man" ::). Ugh.

Brad has masterfully coached this series. He's rendered Simmons ineffective and Embiid is playing right into our hands with the postups.
Stevens called the fake play and timeout at the end to see how the Sixers were defending, then calls another timeout and adjusts. Crazy good
Yeah, hindsight is 20/20. If the Sixers had scored, being stuck on your own side of the court with 1.5 seconds to go on the clock and no way to advance the ball because of a questionable bluff is perhaps just crazy. But to the victor go the spoils, so...

If awards were voted on after the playoffs I can't help but wonder if LeBron would have won MVP, Tatum would have win ROY and Stevens would have won Coach of the Year?

SAME. Especially if it's a road game. God knows what would have happened if I actually watched this entire game :P

LeBron v Davis for MVP would’ve been fun. Not sure who I’d pick
