What is a bad take you have had in the last year or so?
What’s one from others that you can’t believe is /was out there?
( Clearly this is all subjective)

Mine: overpaying with additional pick for Poetl
Others: trading Jaylen Brown for Houston platter.

I love the premise of this. Not enough people are willing to admit when they are wrong (myself included sadly).

-A Kawhi led team will figure it out.
-Denver is overrated.
-The Celtics shouldn't trade JB for KD

Last season, I said whoever won the MIL/BOS series was winning the title.

Clearly, that wasn't the case.   :'(

I'm sure there are several other flops of mine but that one immediately came to mind.

I thought Mike Muscala was going to be good on the Celtics.

As a reminder, there were many people here that wanted Markelle Fultz with the #1 pick. I have some bad takes, but that wasn't one of them.

I've archived every draft thread going back to 2008.  You want good reads & laughs, I highly recommend sifting through those.

I thought the C’s should have moved JB for Bradley Beal. Would have been a bad move. That dude just can’t stay healthy…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I was in the, you can't trade Marcus Smart camp for a long time. Then after last season, I thought one of Smart or Brown had to be traded.

It's one thing to debate who the Celtics will draft in the middle of the first round with so many variables. However, it's a different ballgame when you have the first overall pick.

The 2016 draft was, by far, the most hotly debated draft on this board.  You had several camps for potential Celtics draftees.

2017 was pretty wild too but 2016 has to take the cake.

Oh wow !!  How could I forget the drama !   Yes , heated arguments like everyday and after he was drafted. NEVER wanted him , I didn’t debate ,  I just thought he read bust from the get go.

My big bust was the guy White who wouldn’t fly in an airplane.   LOL ….i really really predicted him as a sure fire All Star  ;D

There was a year the lakers had I think Deangelo Russell, Lopez and some other young guys and started like 12-12. I predicted they would make the playoffs and they won’t like 15 games the rest of the year. On the flip side, I was on the right side of Okafor and one of the earliest to call him a bust when people really got mad at me for saying so. I think I have also been really
Wrong on noel. I thought he would turn things around at some point and he just never did.
