This is all predicated on the idea we could resign Rubio next year. Still only 32 hes the type of PG around 7apg that could transform the celtics offense.

Coming off a ACL he cant be asking for to much money and a couple extra seconds might help brad find a diamond in the rough.

I think Bobby Manning on CLNS proposed this. I like it a lot actually.

Ricky has been disgustingly inefficient his last two seasons. We need someone consistent
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Nooo! Please no...

It's bad enough already, don't make it worse. We need guys who can make shots. Not more non-shooters.

I suggested something similar a few weeks ago.  I like Rubio with this group but his shooting is problem as is his defense. JRich has been pretty good on both of those.

Agreed and Rubio is 31 coming off an ACL tear... Maybe the Lakers would be interested... ;)
