Link: https://www.nbaanalysis.net/2022/01/19/nba-rumors-boston-celtics-indiana-pacers-trade-features-domantas-sabonis/2/

Boston Celtics Receive: F Domantas Sabonis, G/F Jeremy Lamb, IND 2023 1st Round Pick (Swap, More Favorable to BOS)

Indiana Pacers Receive: G/F Jaylen Brown, G Dennis Schroder

While the package above seems to favor Pacers, I’m growing more and more inclined to see what a frontcourt of Tatum-Sabonis-Williams III can do.

No for me.

(1) I prefer Jaylen over Sabonis by a large margin
(2) I have no interest in a Sabonis / Rob Williams big man duo because of their combined lack of shooting ability. Sabonis needs to play alongside guys who can shoot so you can make the most of his interior scoring.

At least this proposal understands that if the Celtics are trading Brown for Sabonis, they’re getting a pick for it.  It is also pretty salary neutral.  I don’t see it happening, however.  Historical Sabonis and Myles Turner haven’t been a good pairing on the court, and it feels unlikely Sabonis and TL would be markedly better.

If Turner doesn't work with Sabonis forget TL next to Sabonis.

I prefer a TL package for Sabonis. Wouldn't do JB.
