Even the Pelican announcers we're baffled by the no foul call for Brown and then the technical called against him right after.

Found that interesting.

Every Celtic has at least one bad habit. Tatum still takes long contested 2 pt shots. Rob keeps passing out when he's right under the hoop. And Pritchard's new thing is to run a break past the free throw line and then pull it back.

I think we should move Nesmith.

Yeah starting to look like the Nessie experiment is not working.
Not starting.  This has been obvious for weeks. Compared to Langford, he just doesn’t have a “feel” for the game.  Great athlete, hard worker but not a good basketball player.

I think Nesmith needs more time out there. He just needs to see it go in a couple of times. Would not give up on him. Has a quick release.   Hard to prove yourself when you only get to play 5 minutes a game.

All this is the product of a team without direction. Nesmith would probably flourish on a team without championship or playoff aspirations. The Celtics have not committed to a plan…so they cannot build an effective team.

As much as I hate watching Tatum go iso to end the half, I prefer it to Grant Williams.

Just saying

Okay, I think we all have to admit it, Jayson Tatum has taken a step back this year in his development. There. I said it. I didn't want to. But it's time to own up to reality. His game has regressed.

We had another thread that mentioned trading Nesmith for Jalen Smith in Phoenix and I immediately thought how wonderful that would be for Nesmith. A clear offensive system where he knows where his shots are coming from and willing passers to create easy looks for him.

Our system is so dysfunctional and his minutes are all over the place. He never knows when he'll play or how much he'll play. He gets benched so easily. Difficult place to perform / develop.

I wonder if his play would improve if he played PF instead of SF in a quicker lineup. Get more advantageous matchups + have extra ball-handlers / drivers / passers / shooters to make his life easier than these slow two big man lineups.

Our bench has played about 32 min with no points.

TP footey…exactly.

His short rotation impacts so many aspects of this team.

Player development ( kids need to play and make mistakes to learn and get confidence) pace of play (iso city) with little player or ball movement  which makes us easy to defend (as Embiid said) and our guys running out of gas at the end of games. All on Ime.

Great thought, but far too imaginative and complex for our Ime.

Tatum had Brown at the three wide, wide open but forced it inside for the TO.

These refs are up and down on calling fouls.

Looks like the Pels want this game more than the Cs.

Do they? The C's have come back from 18 down to lead by two. That kinda tells me the opposite
