The former Boston Celtics big man was waived by the Cavs on Sunday, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania. Cleveland filled Fall's spot on the roster by signing guard Brandon Goodwin to a two-way contract.

Fall signed a one-year, non-guaranteed contract with the Cavaliers before the 2021-22 NBA season. The Cavs kept the 7-foot-6 center around with a two-way contract in Oct.

Through 11 games with Cleveland, Fall averaged 1.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.5 blocks in 5.4 minutes. His lone start came against the Celtics at TD Garden on Dec. 22 when he tallied four points, 10 rebounds, and two blocks in 19 minutes.

He seems like a great guy, but there's no place for him in today's NBA.

Hope he’ll find gainful employment somewhere. I don’t think he’s of value in the NBA unfortunately.

Word is he's going to remake his game and change his name to Enchilada Curry. A three point specialist,  he's going to shoot a skyhook from three. He's Aiming for 59% from three with 19 attempts per game.

Nice one.

I’m guessing his 3 pointer would be unblockable.

He's just too limited for today's NBA to play any more than a handful of minutes. He can't switch on to the perimeter, or if he does he has to stay in drop coverage, which makes it easy for perimeter shooters to feast on him. Offensively he's too clumsy with the ball and doesn't have a go-to shot and is a clumsy passer. Good luck to him though, I'm sure in other leagues his deficiencies would be much less obvious.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

True, but that's all you expect for a 15th player.  I still am intrigued by him in "change of look" offense to confuse the opposition.

This is fine: a bucket, couple of rebounds and maybe a block.  Plus, he fills the role of "big-dude-at-the-end-of-the-bench-with-a-towel" and he's friends with Freedom (same faith).
