Without Timelord, Ime tried to use Parker and Fernando earlier in the game and saw they couldn’t cut it.  So he went mostly with Horford but he was gassed late, so he put in Grant at center in the 4th, even though he had moved him to SF in previous games with much success.  This worked until Grant fouled out so Horford had to go back in.  It was poetic justice that Big Al hit that 3 on the great pass from Jaylen.

Of course of course - it's my only knock on his game in general though. Turns it over a tad much.

Hope he works on that!

Hauser was pretty positive during his time on the court. Maybe Ime should integrate him there for more spacing.

Smart isn't the answer either. He thinks he is a much better passer than he really is and because of that a lot of his turnovers are him trying to be cute and fancy with his passes instead of just making the right and good pass

Just making the right pass or the simple right play is too boring for our guys.
They do not have the mental ability to continuously play the right way for long stretches of time.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

watched on tape delay.   hot takes from today's game.
- Jaylen had a massive game.  JKJB.  essentially a one-man show today.  7 TOs were a testament to the sloppiness in this game.  as bad as 7 TOs were, I think a few of them belonged to his teammates.
- Smart is not the answer at PG.  moving more and more into the trade-Smart column.  when he starts getting sloppy with the dribbling  and passes, that's when the team starts to really get careless.
- great that the team came back in the fourth and pulled away in OT but no way they should have ever let Orlando get back in the game when the C's were pulling away in the second.

I'm really hoping the last few wins are a start of something more consistent. The C's schedule for January isn't that bad so there's a chance to take advantage especially as guys get healthier again

I was hoping that the C’s were going to get a convincing win after playing so well last game, but they barely eked out a victory Tonight over a team that has 7 wins on the season. Glad they won, but I don’t feel great about it.

They play to the level of the opposition. I knew it was going to be a slog after how well they played vs the Suns. Plus no Timelord again, I guess he was injured again. But on a positive note you need special players to will you to victory in times like this and we are fortunate enough to have two, and this time the luck was with us. They just need to string a few of these together to build some self belief…as long as it doesn’t tip over into overconfidence and complacency.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D
