Love how they won 3 in a row at end of season and smoked the Yankees tonight in a one game do or die. Dent memory erased and we have eliminated the Yankees three times this century in the playoffs!

Cora magic continues. 12-3 record!

Playing with house money now. Beat the Rays and anything is possible.

Man....Bobby Dalbec looked absolutely miserable while everyone else was celebrating after the final out. He looked very miffed. Wonder what was up with him?

Let's see if the Rays can put more than 7500 people in the stands for these 2 games. I wish I could upload the video I took at a game during the season. I think there were only about 5000 people in the stands and half of those were Red Sox fans. Rays fans are an embarrassment to that team. That team is awesome and has almost no support in this city.

0-4, 3 LOB, struck out mostly. He'll be fine.

congrats Sox fans.  best of luck in the playoffs.  This is one of the rare years my Brewers made the playoffs.  hope to meet (and beat) you in the World Series.

I know that a lot of people don't care for the second wild card, but I've got to say:  that was exciting.  It was a great playoff race, and there was real tension last night.

I think the fact that only 10 teams make the playoffs in an expanded wild card/play in format makes quite the difference. Especially when compared to the NBA where 20 of the 30 teams make the playoffs in their expanded wild card/play in format. In baseball, that wild card/play in game is being played by great teams. In the NBA....not so much.
