A m8 was saying "The team with the most Kevin Durants will win."

I don't think that's flawed thinking at the moment.

Tatum didn’t embrace a flag like everyone else
The only color that matters is GREEN

Tatum looks every bit as tall as KD out there. Hair may have something to do with it, but he can't be but an inch, inch and a half or so shorter than him.

He’s definitely grown an inch or two since coming into the league. He’s not 6’8” anymore.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Sometimes it’s just good to have a Kevin Durant.

Aye. And fact is, USA had 1 more Kevin Durants than France did. So hey.

They didn’t give him one. There were a limited number given out. I don’t think we need to read anything into it

Only in America.

Anyway - one more fun sounding matchup left.

Slovenia vs Australia for the bronze!

I'm super keen for this one.

With JT’s offensive performance this past season and leapfrogging his Olympic teammates as the 2nd leading scorer for the tournament, he is going to be entrenching himself in the top 10 player this upcoming season. Once he shores up his handle, he’s going to be a Top 5 player.

Defeating KD and the Nets will be a tall task, but I’m glad that Brad is fully embracing a strong defensive identity by collecting excellent defensive players. Combine JT, the defense, and Brown being a Top 20-30 player and I am bullish on the C’s making another Conference Finals run.

Agreed. This is going to boost his confidence even more. Brooklyn Will be tough for a year or two, but I’m really glad that JT is a decade younger than KD. His time will come.

Thought Tatum deserved more PT. He was clearly playing well, but saw only 21 minutes.

FRA was built to beat us.

I KD the face of this team now?  He's had 4 outstanding Gold Medal performances in a row.  Taking over for Carmelo.

Defense helps, but our shooting is really an issue, and we’ve done nothing to improve the bench.

Worry about that later! For now one of the Celtics is a Gold medalist! Celebrate that! ;D
