The good news for the Nuggets is...they don't play again until Friday. They get 3 days to figure out what to do.

The bad news is...they've lost home-court advantage.

they could be down 0-2 by Friday.  Has any team ever came back from 0-2 down after having home court and then losing it?

Idk but the Celtics almost did last year *sigh*

My Goodness, all without Rudy, too.

Even Jokic - by far the best player in the world right now - looks completely flabbergasted about what to do at this point.

Denver kinda reminds me of this year's Kansas City Chiefs of football. Defending champs. But watered down roster, esp outside of their starting 5.

Except this time, I don't think the Nuggets are going to be repeating.

Denver looks totally lost. Seems playing teams with a pulse in the playoffs is something new for them

Absolute pants-down bare-ass paddling right now.  Nuggets getting embarrassed in their own house.

Feels like I'm watching the basketball version of Rocky 3.
Still don't believe in Joe.

So I guess that means you think Denver is going to win then?

Denver 14-43 FGA. 32.6%.

Only 4 FTAs on those 43 FGAs. Not getting to the line. 9 first half turnovers. High turnover count. Minnesota have only 3 TOVs so an extra 6 possessions there for Minnesota.

Haha, I like this one.

A Gordon = 15pts
Jokic, J Murray, MPJ = 14pts combined

A Gordon outscoring their three main scorers by himself.

Those guys averaged 70+ppg in 1st round. Jokic 28.8ppg, Murray 22.5ppg MPJ 22.3ppg. 73.6ppg.

  • GOT IT!!!
Denver has had a math problem all season. They just don't shoot well enough from three to keep Minnesota honest. They finally ran into a team that can zone in on Jokic. Murray is hurt, that's rather obvious now. This series is a wrap.

I know there are many teams who've come back up from 0-2 and won the series, but those were mostly the "underdog" teams (teams w/o HCA)

2012 - OKC vs Spurs
2018 - Cavs vs Celtics
2021 - Clippers vs Jazz
2021 - Bucks vs Suns (NBA Finals)
2022 - Mavs vs Suns
2023 - Warriors vs Kings

But like for the favorites to come back up? Can't seem to find much. Celtics had to be the last team in 2017 when we were down 0-2 and won four straight against the Bulls and sent Jimmy Butler packin' to the Wolves lol

That game went to overtime and didn’t Boston blow the lead late?
