No Hayward, maybe no Rozier tonight. Should be interesting.

It's sad to say but I'm more confident in the Celtics with a player or two out right now. If they win tonight then that means their record will be 4-1 when one of the original starting five misses a game.  In a way I think it gives Brad more lineup flexibility without the concern of frustrating a core rotation player.

By no means am I saying this is good for the team long term.  I just wouldn't be surprised if the team plays with more confidence and assertiveness.
I think it WILL help in the long term.

We won't need motivation once the playoffs start, but now? We badly need a jolt to get back on track.

These minor injuries will help the roster crunch and provide more PT to guys who need it, while giving precautionary rest to anyone who is even slightly banged-up. It also protects those players against worse injuries because guys won't need to favor a sore knee or ankle etc, which can throw their gait off and cause other problems.

Psychologically being shorthanded will be good for the team, reminding guys they need to fight every night to win. It also gives them more experience playing alongside different lineups and players.

In the long run a little adversity should supply with team with more confidence, growth, and long-term health.
Definitely seeing it that way too, as in last night w/o Horford.  It’s a huge benefit of having this kind of depth.   Rozier and Hayward out?  Just means Tatum/Kyrie/Jaylen know they need to step up.

maybe theywill play better

when they don't have the luxury of waiting for the next guy to play hard and win the game.

This isn't going to be a cake walk. The Mavs are playing well, that 1st year PG is killing it.

This could be the start to turn it around.

This will be a huge test for the team to show if they've started to really figure things out.

If they come out flat again and lose, then honestly last night's win won't really matter and it's back to the drawing board (and more uneasiness as we'd fall back to .500)

Tatum vs Docic.  I think Docic will have a better career.  Why?  Because I think he can make teammates better-  has good vision and is a good passer.

Right now, no game is a Cake-walk.  Especially on the road.  The way we are playing, I’ll be shocked is we pull a victory tonight

I'm getting the Dallas feed on League Pass.  Apparently Dallas has won 6 of their last 8 and has been getting off to great starts in the 1st quarter.

Hope we don't lay in egg in the 1st.

Yeah...unfortunately you're right. A good team does make this at least competitive.

Interesting with Morris starting again. I like keeping him in the starting lineup for now to keep us starting better.
