Jaylen 0-5, Rozier 2-7. These guys want opportunities to shine like they did in the playoffs last year, but when they get the opportunity they look like dog poop.

yet it was the starters who gave up a million points, the bench essentially played them even. Those guys do need to play better, but not the reason we are losing either.

Kyrie is the one who got us back in the game, not the bench,

No, it was also the bench. Ya Kyrie did the scoring, but the bench at least slowed down their scoring relative to the starters. Not saying they were great, but the reason we are losing is the starters came out and allowed 20 points in the first 4 minutes.

Not using this as an excuse as we have a far better team than the Hawks but Atlanta are actually 8-7 in the past 15 games with wins over Phi, OKC, the TWolves and the Heat. They’re not as bad recently  as their overall record indicates. Certainly the Celtics should be too good for them but theyre not a team we’d expect to blow out. If our players went in there with thoughts of putting in 50% effort because they’re a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.kicker team then they certainly got a rude awakening

It’s like Kyrie and 4 stiffs. We need somebody else to play like they aren’t thinking about clubbing in Atlanta tonight.

Kyrie is the only reason this game isn’t a blowout.

They gave up 68 in the first half to one of the worst teams in the NBA. Sometimes I wonder if the Cs are just massive pretenders.

I think this is a bit of a overreaction. We actually play elite ball when we're engaged, which we almost always are against the top teams, such as Toronto, Milwaukee, Philly, etc.

It is frustrating that we don't give that energy against the lower teams, and it is clearly hurting us in the standings. But regardless we're going to be a tough out in the playoffs, and I still think we're the favorite to come out of the East. Just making it harder for ourselves with the seeding.
Truly elite teams don’t look like G league teams consistently on the road. I know they are finding themselves and they bring it against good teams but we are midway through the year and almost into February. It’s the mentality that bothers me. They never had it before.

The previous 4 years, they had an above .500 record on back to backs. They never took anything for granted and always brought effort. This team doesn’t seem to have that in their DNA. That’s what scares me. And I don’t think Stevens is a clue on how to fix it.

Starters were awful except Kyrie. C's players off the bench should have shot better but the reason the C's trail is the terrible start the starters had that put this team down 10 fast.

I will say this Hawks team has a nice nucleus between Young, Huerter and Collins. Young is only 3-9 but man he is a great passer and he has a lot of offensive feel. He needs to hit more than 30% of his threes, but if that number starts climbing watch out.

I think it's about time to bench Morris and start Anthony Davis.

If there was a trade where the C's could move Brown and parts to Atlanta for Collins and Huerter, I would do that in a sec. Really like Collins and Huerter. They would fit into this team fabulously.

Starting 5 looks bad...except for Kyrie.

Who are they going to blame this on?
