@rick_bonnell - 0m ago - I'm hearing @Hornets are still very active in the trade market and aren't sold on keeping both Teague and Rubio.  They would like to move at least 1 for a younger PG prospect (or a 1st).  They are also still trying to move MKG and Howard as well, and have received some interest in both.

We can't trade a player we acquired from another team

5. You cannot trade a player you acquired during this mock trade deadline. If you don't want him, you better work a 3-team deal.
Yeah I see that now.  I don't get that rule at all.  And actual teams do that all the time.  Requiring it to be a 3 or 4 team trade allows for trades to fall through you would otherwise do when you could just work a trade out later.  I don't see why I can't trade a player I acquired as long as the real rules are followed, but if those are the weird rules those are the weird rules and I'm stuck with 2 veteran PG's for some strange reason.
Problem is how do you confirm the real rules are followed since you can't use the trade machine?

TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Washington Wizards have acquired Jameer Nelson, sending their 2018 2nd round pick to New Orleans.  Statements from each team will come later this evening.

Note: I can’t get the trade machine to create a working link, but Jameer Nelson makes the minimum salary, so it works.  Trust me.  ;)

New Orleans Pelicans statement on trade with Washington Wizards:

The Pelicans would like to thank Jameer Nelson for his contributions this season.  He was an important component of our offense, especially early in the season while Ramon Rondo was injured.  With the acquisition of Jordan Clarkson, Jameer’s role was naturally going to be reduced, and all parties are pleased that he will have the opportunity to contribute in Washington for a playoff push.

The Pelicans note that they now have an open roster spot as a result of this trade, and are still looking to add another player before the deadline.

Reports are that the Timberwolves are very happy with their early moves, however they feel like more moves can be made. They have 2 2018 1st round picks (OKC and CHA) and are attempting to find a long term fit next to KAT. They also have several solid rotational bigs who are available in said trade..
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

Breaking:
Washington and Miami have agreed to a blockbuster deal, whereby Miami will send out Goran Dragic and Tyler Johnson, and will receive Otto Porter Jr.

Porter Jr. reportedly waived his NTC as he felt his career was stagnating in Washington, and was developing somewhat of an unhealthy rivalry with Kelly Oubre. Team statements to follow

Steven A Smith reporting that the Nets are still looking for a team that needs a productive wing on a good contract. They can take on extra salary, but are looking for young players to take a chance on or draft considerations.

I’m sorry, but both Ilyasova and Muscala agreed to waive their no trade clauses???  Respectfully I challenge that assumption.
