The Celtics really should complain to the league office about this schedule, though. This is such non-sense, and it's all so the NBA can make an extra buck with the London game.

Houston has literally played six fewer games than us, but they give us Houston on national tv on the second night of a back to back.
So I’ve heard this before but haven’t been paying attention.  What’s the London game?  And does this mean that we still won’t get the rest we deserve due to travel?

No, we have pretty much a second All-Star Break surrounding our January 11th game in London against Philadelphia. We literally play one game in 10 days in that stretch, which is the London game.

That's the major reason we've had such a packed schedule in 2017, because they needed to give us a break both before and after the London game for travel reasons.

Why hasn't Philadelphia's schedule been as gruesome as ours then??

From my understanding, they'll have a similarly tight schedule after the London game as we've had in 2017. However, they'll have a bit softer schedule in the teams they play, where we'll have more difficult opponents to face.

We essentially flip-flop on the types of schedule we play.

The fact that Tony brothers who's standing 3 feet away called that basket good originally is the epitome of NBA referees..

He is one of my most hated referee list along with Marc Davis and Bill Kennedy.

Couple of missed layups at the end of the quarter that could've cut the deficit below 20. Also, too many turnovers.

As someone who LOVES winter and snow.. it's a bummer to hear the snow coming Saturday night around Boston/Quincy is only a coating to an inch (while lucky Cape Cod folks get 3-5 inches...)  :(

BUT looks like we could get a blockbuster storm next Wednesday-Thursday (which is also supposed to bring in some "warmer 25-30 degree air" back in New England lol).

I say all this because this game is depressing me to the point where I'm just watching local news LOL.

Maybe. It's still a 48 minute game though. Rockets go cold and you never know.

Just depressed me even more.  Hate the cold, but at least it's not snowing.

This botched fastbreak by Orlando is the only thing making me feel better.

It could be worse guys.

It's bad enough that he tried such a fancy pass on a 4-on-1, but he made it even worse by trying to make that pass right-handed, when using his left would've been easier.

I almost lost it when I seen him do the count it hand signal. Already down 1 ref and basically playing with only 1 as it is. Not saying the Celts even deserve to be in this game with some of the absolute stupidity they've shown out there, but that doesn't excuse garbage officiating. Took us til midway thru 2nd to get our first free throws it felt like
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Here it's currently like 8 degrees (feels like -9).

Supposed to get colder tomorrow and wind chills in the morning between -20 to -30.  :o

Love winter, but I will admit having long stretches of below zero weather without snow is not something I'm a fan of (now if it were this cold AND snowing, I'd be fine  ;D)

It was 84 today here in Los Angeles County ... which probably sounds great right about now to most of you in New England, but that's way too warm for December, and way too warm for a guy (me) who kinda misses Maine winters.

So it’s been a bad sports day for me, as my son’s freshman team lost by almost 30 as well.
