Anybody remember the Lakers Celtics game 3 of finals in 84?- we got thrashed and lost 137-104...came back and won next two..thrashings happen and they happened to our great Celtics team a few times in 80s as well. Oh, we won the title that year.

We just need to win on home court. Will take a five game series and home court and now we should be a little more mad after thrashing.

We go up 3-1.  Lay an egg like tonite in mil then win the series in game 6

TATUM should be BENCHED.

He's gotta bring it in game 3. He's been a no-show so far this series.

  • GOT IT!!!
Deep down I knew the Bucks would bounce back and take this game because they had to. But my god I did not expect the C's to look THIS bad. This is downright pathetic.

After they bricked away the game they checked out. Still only counts as 1 loss.

KYRIE showed bad leadership tonight. When your shots are not falling you have to facilitate.

I mean, this is as bad as we have looked all year, and we're clearly out of whack and sync right now; yet Brad is over there literally just straight-faced, hoarding his timeouts like it's going to matter later in the fourth. God, so frustrating.

Between the p--- poor shot selection all night by Kyrie, Rozier, and Tatum and the lack of effective in-game management from the coaching staff, this team can be really, really dumb at times. It's embarrassing.
Time outs not the magic elixir.  He already called one anyway.  At some point the players have to produce.

Yeah, you always say that, but it's simply not true. They ended on a 24-4 run, with us having more turnovers than I can even remember during that run. You seriously think a timeout wouldn't have benefited us to get us an easy bucket for an ATO play?? And besides, what the hell are you saving them for anyways in a blowout game??
He called a time out?!? How many more you want?

MORE THAN ONE! He has four timeouts left in a freaking thirty point blowout. What else is he going to use them for?? You realize that he can call more than one timeout in a quarter, right??
Well technically he had two timeouts.  Didn’t do squat.

I mean, then you keep calling them. It's not that difficult. To not call them means that they just continue reeling in their futility. Keeping those timeouts for late in the game means jack squat if you have no chance of coming back anyways.

Lol Brad finally calls timeout to stop a Milwaukee run long after the game is pretty much decided.

He didn’t call the timeout to stop a run, he called it probably because he wasn’t happy with the effort giving up an offensive rebound to connaughton that led to a 3 from mirotic after he’d missed one just earlier

Still, he let most of that third quarter go by letting the celts play like trash. He calls a timeout because he's not happy with garbage time lol

How many timeouts did Stevens call during the 28-2 run ?
Technically there were two.  I guess the third would have been the magic pill.

That's ludicrous, you call more than that on an embarrassing run like 28-2. When has 28-2 ever even happened in the playoffs ?
Not even the famous 1986 Celts third quarter vs Hawks.

Giannis has more free throw attempts than our entire team.  Entirely predictable.  He also gets to travel whenever he wants and use his forearm to push people out of the way.

I wish someone would create a .gif showing that travel from earlier.  He literally picked up his dribble, took a step and then did a jump stop, and then took two more steps after that.  Some of the most ridiculous crap I've seen without a travel call.
I can't see how Danny doesn't simply spam the league office with film of blatant no-calls on offensive fouls and travels, and garbage calls when someone breathes on Giannis

Woof.

This is why the Bucks are such a dangerous opponent.

They can absolutely bury you in threes while Giannis gets reliable points inside and at the line.

Even a great defense might get shellacked by the Bucks on the wrong night.  Tonight was the wrong night for the Celtics.

Question now is whether the Celts can make Games 3 and 4 look more like Game 1 than Game 2.  The Celts don't have the firepower to hang with a team that's snapping the nets like the Bucks did tonight.

First two games have been blowouts.  Celts have home court.  I think to win this series they need to win the next two.  If this is all even after 4, the Bucks are gonna win 2/3.
no one can hang with a team hitting that high a percentage of 3's but the C's had far too many no shows on offense tonight which made it much easier for the Bucks.  a lot less pressure for them to make shots when they're pulling away from C's who are just tossing up bricks

Im sorry but that’s ridiculous.  Players simply have to play better.  Zero to do with the coach.
