Why is Kyrie back in?  He deserves to ride the bench after his sorry performance.
Yeah, both our Dukies really stunk it up.

Rozier is a garbage basketball player so seeing him play like garbage isn't surprising. It hurts when our good players do. Especially Tatum, who hasn't shown up this series yet

or make him play out the mess he's primarily responsible for creating.

Can’t say I’m surprised by this. I expected the Bucks to win big tonight. Completely crazy that anyone counted them out after one game.
Good news is we got the job done and stole home court.

Horford is going to have to play more. Budenholzer heard all the criticism about him: the lack adjustments, the cute minutes distribution, and tonight he's treated this like a G7. Giannis and Middleton in at all times for the competitive portion of the game.

We got outstrategized tonight...Giannis passed a lot more out of those double teams and thy found open shooters on the perimeter who actually made their shots. Bucks shot a franchise record 3s tonight
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Anybody remember the Lakers Celtics game 3 of finals in 84?- we got thrashed and lost 137-104...came back and won next two..thrashings happen and they happened to our great Celtics team a few times in 80s as well. Oh, we won the title that year.

We just need to win on home court. Will take a five game series and home court and now we should be a little more mad after thrashing.

with prior rosters, if the C's got blown out, I'd expect them to get ticked off and come out the next game and play with pride.  I just haven't seen that kind of mental make-up with this roster this year.

How many timeouts did Stevens call during the 28-2 run ?

I mean, this is as bad as we have looked all year, and we're clearly out of whack and sync right now; yet Brad is over there literally just straight-faced, hoarding his timeouts like it's going to matter later in the fourth. God, so frustrating.

Between the p--- poor shot selection all night by Kyrie, Rozier, and Tatum and the lack of effective in-game management from the coaching staff, this team can be really, really dumb at times. It's embarrassing.
Time outs not the magic elixir.  He already called one anyway.  At some point the players have to produce.

Yeah, you always say that, but it's simply not true. They ended on a 24-4 run, with us having more turnovers than I can even remember during that run. You seriously think a timeout wouldn't have benefited us to get us an easy bucket for an ATO play?? And besides, what the hell are you saving them for anyways in a blowout game??
He called a time out?!? How many more you want?

MORE THAN ONE! He has four timeouts left in a freaking thirty point blowout. What else is he going to use them for?? You realize that he can call more than one timeout in a quarter, right??
Well technically he had two timeouts.  Didn’t do squat.

A timeout wouldn’t have stopped this.

And ATO plays aren’t an automatic bucket.  You still have to make the shot... which has been the whole issue.  We’ve gotten decent looks.  Just can’t hit dirt with a shovel tonight.
We had a timeout and a quarter break in between no less.

Yet they still went on a 28-4 run. Clearly nothing we could've done about that, and those four timeouts are too valuable for the end of the fourth quarter in a 30 point blowout.  ::)

Woof.

This is why the Bucks are such a dangerous opponent.

They can absolutely bury you in threes while Giannis gets reliable points inside and at the line.

Even a great defense might get shellacked by the Bucks on the wrong night.  Tonight was the wrong night for the Celtics.

Question now is whether the Celts can make Games 3 and 4 look more like Game 1 than Game 2.  The Celts don't have the firepower to hang with a team that's snapping the nets like the Bucks did tonight.

First two games have been blowouts.  Celts have home court.  I think to win this series they need to win the next two.  If this is all even after 4, the Bucks are gonna win 2/3.
