I got the impression he was doing a better job deferring to George this year, is that not true?
For the most part he has gotten slightly better, but he's still a terrible ball-hog. And it's no coincidence that when he shoots a lot they lose. In fact, in the 20 games where he has 20+ FGA they've only won 8, including games against weak teams like Charlotte and Phoenix.

He just kills his team when he looks to shoot

Got bad news for everyone. Cousins looks like he hasn't lost any athleticism.

Still think that I'd rather watch the Warriors throw the ball to Cousins in the post than any other offensive option, but he looks pretty good.

At least he got 2 fouls quickly, I guess ...

A true death lineup for the Warriors

Curry/Thompson/Durant/Green/Cousins. Five all-star players lol.

Even if his athleticism remains the same, as long as his brain does as well, we need not be worried.

Guy is a stupid player.

He’s got great players around him, but if anyone can find a way to mess it up, it’ll be him.

Best lineup in NBA history? (assuming Boogie returns to his old self)

In terms of individual talent, it’s definitley up there. In terms of would I back this lineup over any in NBA history - no

Was watching the Warriors-Clips game and Harris and SGA were killing it for the Clips.

To all you guys wanting the C's to trade Kyrie:

Harris + SGA + Jerome Robinson (#14 last June) + renounce protections on their pick this year for Kyrie + Bird + Yabu

Would you do it? :P

Agreed. Though this Warriors team will be far more dangerous than they already are once Boogie returns to his old self.

The thing is, he’s not going to be his “old self” because he’s going to be at 1/2 to 1/3 his usage that he was previously, let alone playing time.

And call me a pessimist, but I don’t see Cousins being fine with that long-term. With his history of immaturity and him wanting to highlight himself for another big contract, I sincerely don’t see him “playing nice” the rest of the season and playoffs when he realizes the extent of his limited touches and playing time, which is not only counter to his preferences but also his entire NBA history.

We’ve seen with young, immature guys on our own team how that works out. I’m also keen to see how Green and Cousins coexist with how volatile they are. We’ll get a good look up close next Saturday!

I think the C's almost traded FOR Tobias Harris a couple years ago

And I think it's telling that no NBA team wanted to give Cousins a substantial offer this season. It tells me GM's around the league think he's not going to come close to his old self this season.

Not all that impressed with either Philly or OKC as I watched the 4th quarter today.  Paul George is a guy I'd love to have -- Russell Westbrook is not.  Simmons game is generally very impressive, but his lack of a shot (as many have pointed out) really hurts him (if that shot develops, he'll be great.

Dumb foul by Westbrook to put Embiid on the line for 3 FTs to tie it with 15 seconds left.  Embiid ties it. Then Shroeder throws it away to Butler to hand Philly the lead.  An OKC embarrassment. Then George gets 4 point play to win it (if he missed the shot, he would have been able to win it at the line) -- a Philly embarrassment.
