I love Bass, and don't mind him coming back as a veteran but at what cost?

No, no, no.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I'd prefer Jerebko over Bass.

I really see no point whatsoever in re-signing him.

Only need to sign any additional power forwards if we trade Olynyk or Sullinger first, and even in that case, I'd re-sign Jerebko or sign Aminu instead.

I like Bass.  Wish him well elsewhere.

I wish Bass luck with another team.  Even if it means getting worse, I hope we start playing these young players more and more if we are going to keep them.

If we're bringing back Sullinger, Olynyk, Crowder, drafted Mickey, and signing Harris, I'm not sure what Bass brings that we don't have covered already. Crowder and Harris can double as small ball jump shooting 4's. Another poster mentioned Jerebko too.

I would expect Bass to go to greener pastures and the C's to let him go without a second thought.  however, IF the C's were able to sign a good defensive center that can control the boards, I could see Bass being resigned if KO or Sully were traded as well to open up a PF slot.

right now, really think the PF slot should be Sully and KO (maybe some Mickey if he shows anything).  the downside is neither can defend like Bass.

If we can't do better than bringing back Bass I won't be happy. He is a good vet in the locker room and I would fine with him in an end of the bench role, but I would rather see Sully, Olynyk, Zeller and a young free agent get most of the time here.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Yeah seriously. Unless the idea is to sign him for peanuts and then hope he's a useful trade throw-in.

Of course if he could be a useful trade throw-in...he already would have been one.
