He accepted a buyout and is going to be done in 2 weeks - rather curious timing given the playoffs have just begun don;t ya think?!

Did the Globe mail him his buyout offer like he's mailed in the past 10 years?  :o

 feel sorry for all the people losing their jobs at the Globe, but I must say I'm glad May will no longer be writing about the C's.  He didn't appear to be a fan of the C's and all his articles about C's games were written from the other team's perspective, as if he was a beat writer for the opposing team and not the Celtics.  Wierd.  Glad he's gone.
