Zion looking good, nets looking bad.

Down 18 after the first Q. Wow.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Ben Simmons with 1 FGA in 20 minutes as the Nets are getting waxed at home.  Pelicans might be good this year (I placed a bet on it so I think they will be), but the Nets are a straight up mess.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Mitchell played well for the Cleveland Cavs seems to have plugged in perfectly.

Yeah, none of those guys on the Nets wanted to be back or playing basketball, they just want to get paid and nobody else wanted them this summer.

Utah taking it to Denver up 75-53 at half.  Vanderbilt doing his best Rodman impersonation with 12 rebounds already 5 offensive.

Just out hustling them.  Killing them on the boards.  Shooting the eyes out from 3.  Very balanced effort by the entire team.

Cavs nearly beat Toronto with Garland getting hurt and only playing 13 minutes.  I think the Cavs could be a sneaky good team this year.  Probably not a title contender, but man are they going to be a tough out night in and night out.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Denver getting waxed by Utah. How does that happen…

Edit- Just read Oracles breakdown. Pretty sad to be losing badly to a team that is trying to tank.

Ainge's tank effort may have underestimated Hardy as a good coach
