I have Marshall, Colston and Holmes as my receivers. Felt it was a nice trio. Marshall is out this week and the other two gave me 3 points. Addai is my main back and he has 4. Looking like 0-1.

My condolences.

One of the teams in my division had Brady.

Am I crazy for starting Desean Jackson over Marvin Harrison and Crayton?

He's the #1 receiver this week and he's been lighting corners on fire.  I just don't trust Harrison yet.  I think Crayton will have a good game but it basically comes down to me wanting to look cool because the rookie I started blew up.

Am I crazy?

Looks like you wouldn't have been crazy, after all.  Jackson looks fabulous.

They were close.  Marvin looked good except for that fumble.  The Bears just have a good defense.  But yeah I think Desaun is gonna be picked up in a lot of leagues.

on a silver lining note, who else picked up matt cassell?

i did in both fantasy leagues, and in both im offering him to the guy with brady, at a fairly reasonable price hehe.

I picked up Kitna to replace Brady (but am still holding on to Brady in case he could play again this season)

I claimed Cassell off waivers. I usually don't pick a quarterback until the 8 - 10 round so I have the luxury of rotating that position. Cassell has serious weapons around him...

oh, im all set at QB. i have mcnabb, with rivers as backup.

To bad the guy who had brady has arron rogers.

This was strictly a vindictive "haha, you need a starting QB, trade me a RB" pickup heh

Hahaha, that's the exact situation I've got going in my league - same guy has Brady and Rodgers, and I picked up Cassel.  Not sure who I should push for though - he's got Willie Parker, DeAngelo Williams, Edge James, and Jamal Lewis.  Parker's probably too much to get, but James and Lewis are a tough choice - but not a bad choice to be making.

I've also got Derek Anderson and Schaub as my QBs, so maybe I'll keep him around after all...

I'm feeling pretty good today. I've already won my game and have Ryan Grant and Mason Crosby going tonight. We've had this league going for 16 years and most of the owners are pretty savvy. This year we have 13 teams and I picked 13th.
We play one QB - I have Brees and Warner. We play 2 RBs, in addition to Grant, I have Willie Parker, Matt Forte and Chris Johnson. We play 2 WRs, I have A. Boldin, J. Cotchery, and Santana Moss. I'm weak at TE, J. Kellar. And my defense let me down, Jaguars. Couple of other scrub WRs and RBs that I'll probably use as drop positions for bye weeks and free agent pick-ups.

i got one. would you start

mcnabb @ dallas
Rivers @ denver

now, normally, this is a no contest to mcnabb, but dallas has a good defense, and the broncos have a sub par secondary.

thoughts?

McNabb, every week of the season.  McNabb has had some huge games against Dallas in the past, and Rivers has never been overly special against Denver.  If all else fails, go with the better and more consistent QB.

I think the Eagles-Cowboys game has a better chance to be a big day for QBs than the Chargers-Broncos game.

Actually, I'd probably go with McNabb over Rivers most of the time this season. I expect a big season from Donovan.
