Seems the Heat might be down another player in Game 5:

The Miami Heat's blowout loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday came with a potentially longer-lasting effect: a possible injury to rookie forward Jaime Jaquez Jr.

"Just my right hip. I felt something give at the beginning of the third quarter going up for a rebound," Jaquez shared. "I tried to give it everything I had.

I didn't even think the Celtics played that well last night and they still bashed the Heat.  White was real fun to watch, though.

This thing is ending Wednesday night.

Three of the games have been blowouts with the lead crossing 22 at times. Even in Game 2, despite how well MIA shot and poorly Boston looked, Boston still led at halftime and only lost by 10. Most teams would have been run out of the building. It's an indictment on Boston's talent, but again, it's up to them to show it consistently and put the same effort out there particularly on defense. It's refreshing to see Jrue just hounding Herro and their other guards, we didn't have that last year at all. We last saw it with the Ime Celtics and Smart's DPOY season/postseason.

Well I guess he wore out that hip by setting too many moving screens

Not that Jacquez is close to the level of Dejounte Murray, but it kind of reminds me of when he was suspended for Game 5 last year and we thought it'd make things way easier. Then we blew Game 5 and had to go to a 6th game vs. Atlanta of all teams. That also felt like the first sign among others that last year's group might not have what it takes to make the Finals.

So yeah, while tomorrow isn't a traditional "must win" it really is one they shouldn't lose. If they do, I think that's not a good sign. Even without Porzingis they need to take care of business at home and get rid of these dirty Heat. You also don't want to give the Heat an extra 48-96 minutes to possibly injure more of our guys if you lose Game 5.

I had Celtics in 5 but if Jacquez is out then the Celtics I've learned to know will find a way to blow this game hilariously at the Garden. Yes, the C's are playing at the dreaded TD Garden which has been a nightmare for them in these postseasons. C's should just play all their playoff games on the road. So far they're undefeated this season and probably some .600 record dating back to 2 years ago on away playoff games.

The talent is there. We don't need Porzingis against this depleted Heat squad. It's just mental focus and coaching tbh.

The only thing that can cause us to lose this, with so many of their top guys missing, would be if they came out not taking it seriously. That's really the only thing.

DA always knew that was the Heat plan , it’s a Dirty Pat team. Will be until his demise.

We need to eliminate the thugs ASAP , and get on with real basketball.
