Ha ha--we know they weren't gonna give him #34!

Amir Johnson on why he picked No. 90: "every number 1-34 was basically retired."

Scott Souza ?@scott_souza  54s54 seconds ago
#Celtics forward Amir Johnson will wear #90. He said his first choice was #5 but thinks C's have other plans for future of that number.
Not really. There's 9, 20, 26, 27, 28, 29 (which no-one seems to want for some reason), 30, and 31 -- none of these are retired, all of them are available for 2016.

No one wore #29 like Out-Of-Service Pervis...

RJ has #28. I know Danny has left it up in the air as to whether or not #20 will be retired, but it's possible that they're not letting anyone use it.
Forgive my ignorance, but who's RJ?

Lol Who's RJ

He's one of our rookies who may or may not play a meaningful role in the rebuilding effort of the future.

As of now he's worth the yawn.

Yeah, saying he should be in the announcer's booth about sums it up.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Well, I don't think the rook has enough cred yet to be referred to by his initials. My first reaction was, "When did we get Richard Jefferson on the team?!"

Poor Jonas...

"We're glad to have Jonas back for a year...or maybe 2...we'll see."

Nice, Danny...  ::)

"Or maybe we'll ship him out in 10 minutes...  You guys know me."

WHAT!? :o *facepalm* Not that I'm surprised, but still, what a tool.  Seriously, who would ever want to sign here as a free agent, particularly after this?  Danny be like, "is that ink dry yet?" ::)

That is pretty crappy. Did Jonas react in any way? Like, kick him under the table?

So what, you'd have had Danny refer to him as RH--to keep him humble?
