If Amir is 6'11" then Perry is over 7ft.

Nice!!

I don't think see perry any mins. I watched his highlights nothing stood out. This log jam will only cause guys to play 150 percent when they are on the floor.

I wish Ainge would've said, " Here's Perry Jones, the guy I should've drafted over Fab Melo "
yes, just think of all those wins the celtics lost because not acquiring him a few years ago. the celtics might have another banner or two... or perhaps it would have made absolutely no difference whatsoever so slapping around this deceased horse gets us nowhere.

who knows?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Poor Jonas...

"We're glad to have Jonas back for a year...or maybe 2...we'll see."

Nice, Danny...  ::)

"Or maybe we'll ship him out in 10 minutes...  You guys know me."

Yeah, Danny's good for awkward/borderline insulting moments.

I really liked the chemistry with Lee and Amir, and I think they're going to be the de facto co-leaders of this team. (Sorry, Marcus and Avery.) It'll be the first time this young group has had leadership from their best and most proven players. (Wallace did a good job from the bench apparently, but that's just not the same.)

And good luck, Brad, with the minutes juggling!

That was brutally awkward.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
i thought the media questions were kind of weak. There are 5 players up there to ask questions of and it seemed like they ran out of questions after 5 minutes.

BTW- in the Celtics.com interview of Amir he mentioned that he has been working on his 3 point shot for a while. I think you see him shoot a lot of those in Boston.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Jae is too funny

Says how much this means to him--and to the people he's been around.

No, there's nothing wrong with the other guys coming stag, but I though Crowder making such an event of it by having his people there was touching.

Ha ha--we know they weren't gonna give him #34!

Amir Johnson on why he picked No. 90: "every number 1-34 was basically retired."

Scott Souza ‏@scott_souza  54s54 seconds ago
#Celtics forward Amir Johnson will wear #90. He said his first choice was #5 but thinks C's have other plans for future of that number.

Not really. There's 9, 20, 26, 27, 28, 29 (which no-one seems to want for some reason), 30, and 31 -- none of these are retired, all of them are available for 2016.

RJ has #28. I know Danny has left it up in the air as to whether or not #20 will be retired, but it's possible that they're not letting anyone use it.

Forgive my ignorance, but who's RJ?
