He made up the scoring loss of Priince and Thornton last night .  Celtics need his scoring for sure.

The ejection was a bit bogus .  A tech foul seemed more inline. I didn't catch his actual words .  What I ve seen , it's never good to vent at the ref right after the play ., in a harsh way.

I'm really liking this dude...what do you think about the 4 turnovers vs 3 assists?

he's Legit....its nice to see a point guard who can shoot the rock. You can see why ainge picked him up. he's young so he can be a building block if we can acquire some more legit players.

Better defender than i thought. Similar game to Kyle Lowry

Small but tough as nails. No wonder Danny likes him

He should of not been kicked out of the game.

Quote
Ainge has long coveted Thomas, who noted Boston's boss watched him at the Maui Invitational before the draft and suggested he was just as good as Kemba Walker.

Yet danny drafts jjj and moore in front of Thomas lol

Thomas should of been picked in the top 12 in that years draft

*He needs a nickname good enough to make us forget he's named Isaiah Thomas.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Some of his passes were bad folks, while I liked his scoring and attacking the rim.  He seemed a tad out of control but then I realized he doesn't know these guys or the plays.    I think he will be better after he knows the plays.

Thomas reminds me of Tiny Archibald.

I just wish KO would get back.

Please stop. Tiny Archibald is a hall of famer. Thomas might never even make an all star game. Tiny Archibald dominated basketball games. He would score 30 points and have 15 assists. There might be some comparison in style, but that is it. I like Thomas, but he's no Tiny.

And, while I like the guy a lot, there is a nagging question in my head -- why is he already on his third NBA team? I hope he works out here, but I still believe that he is going to end up a key trade piece to get the Celts one of the superstars they need to become relevant again.

The talent in the league is better now than it was in Archibald's day.

Thomas is very similar to Archibald, but more athletic.

More like a Kyle Lowry at this point

Bottom line nobody should be complaining.

Literally got him for a guy that was not going to be brought back next season and a 2016 22-30 pick .

Be carful what you wish for, you just may get it.
We're going to find out a lot about Kelly and soon. With Sully gone for the season, he'll get 30 minutes a game.

Oh...I thought IT was solid, he did what he does best. Nice addition, the ball handling will really help too. Good work Danny. We look pretty fair in the back court.

Now please find us a center that can defend. (although Zeller is a nice backup) And while you at it, an athletic power forward would be nice. Oh...and a small forward that knows how to play without the ball in his hands would be great.

....only IF he can stay on the floor. Gotta play D with his feet and not his hands/arms.
