This is just MY opinion ... I think the purpose of the thread was for others to list theirs, or at least their number one favorite. I was going on mainly assists or passing ability as I see it. No one ever made me gasp in amazement at the ability of their passing as much as Larry Bird ... no one. (My original list was of Forwards only, and just based on assist numbers, mainly ... there were many Forwards who had higher assist numbers than Bird, but not the passing ability.)

Very true TP.  Nobody compared to Bird Small or Power Forward when it came to passing.

Yeah, I certainly wouldn't count Hondo, who was closer to a shooting guard than a power forward (though certainly a small forward).  I also would disqualify Bird and Pippen.  They were primarily 3s.

I'd probably go with Webber or Garnett.  Duncan is certainly in a league above them as a player, but Webber and Garnett do things guards do with the basketball.

KG is being underrated. In his prime in Minnesota, he was fantastic. Way ahead of Duncan and Webber.

Larry played the PF position quite often, actually ... I think he qualifies.

"Duncan is certainly in a league above them as a player" you really think this when referring to KG?
