OKC just got handed pretty much a perfect bracket. Opposite side of both Houston and GS, and they start off with Portland, who they were 4-0 against this season. Then they’d face either Denver or San Antonio in the second round, who I think they handle.

OKC has a good shot of getting to the WCF, and I could potentially see them knocking off one of GS or Houston and going to the Finals. I think they beat Houston 3-1 for the season series and had a close season series with GS.

I think they'll beat Portland but they're just such a terrible offensive team.  Think the Spurs or Nuggets should beat them.

My finals prediction is Rockets over Raptors in 5.

I think the Rockets stun the Warriors.

The Celts stun Milwaukee, make it to the ECF but lose to Toronto in 5 or 6.

Rockets beat Raptors in 5. James Harden is finals MVP.

OKC are likable, no doubt. Good luck to them getting to the finals (have OKC ever been to the finals??)

Russ is great, PG deserves credit for signing a contract in Oklahoma, and Adams should be on the Celtics.

P.S Can we swap Adams for Baynes, Yabu and Theis: and Schroder for Rozier. Great thanks bye.

In 2012 vs Miami.

Instead of making a new thread I'll just ask this here. Whom do you think has the best chance of getting upset in the first round? I think it's gotta be Denver. I feel like they are in for a rude awakening without a closer against Pop and the Spurs.
The Celtics, now that Smart is out.

More than Portland, who I think will be the underdog?

The takes on here are pretty crazy. Indy is not a good team.

People keep saying we can't beat Toronto..
We have beaten em before and frankly I think its more difficult to eliminate the Cs with a healthy Irving in a seven game series...
Kyrie is an animal in the POs and we all have witnessed how good he was.. Give him enough help and he can win.. There is obviously a lot of help for him with his current teammates.. Lets all see how things play out first...
These predictions are pretty silly tbh since a lot of factors will tip the balance in favor of teams... Health being the main one.

I love Smart as much as anyone. I think he's the beating heart and emotional leader of this Celtic team. Some of the little things he does can be game changing. That said...if not having Smart means we can't beat Indy, who is missing their best player and All-Star, we don't deserve to progress at all and we have much more serious problems than even this mediocre regular season suggested.

Your opinion, bub. If you don't agree, make your own prediction and have a great day.

The reason the Raptors traded for Kawhi Leonard is finally here.

There are 396 players with over 1,500 minutes in the postseason.

Among them, ranking in Win Shares Per 48
1. Michael Jordan
2. LeBron James
3. Kawhi Leonard
----
391. DeMar DeRozan

So Smart is that big of a difference maker but Oladipo isn’t?

Wondering if I should be superstitious with using the game threads during these playoffs lol.

I was very busy with stuff so wasn't on here much the last 2-3 weeks, but that's when we seemed to have our best stretch of games all season along with Hayward looking fantastic  :P

I was on the game threads for the final three games, where we went 2-1 (including the big win over IND).

I mean, Kawhi has only ever been in the playoffs when his team is really good.  So that's a bit skewed.

The year he got finals MVP he shot 60% on the series against LeBron and Dwayne Wade prime...

If they get bounced before the conference finals I will be shocked I've seen Kawhi so great things in the playoffs and I know he has a switch that he's gonna turn on now for the post season.

I'm not saying Kawhi isn't a very good player, but using a career WS/48 stat is going to obviously favor the guy who was drafted by a contender and who has only ever played post-season minutes while surrounded by a top level team.

Whereas LeBron and Jordan, for example, spent their early years carrying flawed rosters into the post-season.
