so, i was bored and over at NBA.com and clicked on top 10 buzzerbeaters.

guess what isn't on there? The ray allen 3 vs the bobcats.

Lebron is on there 5 times though, all on routine shots at the buzzer.

at least pierce made it in for the layup in denver, but come on. I thought that whole imposable inbounds tip to winning 3 was pretty good, but apparently a guy from the kings hitting a shot while down big is the best buzzer beater this year. who knew?

lol NBA.

Wow...how in the world can that Bobcats buzzerbeater not be on there?  You sure?

Since I wasn't able to see any of the Texas sweep, that was probably my favorite game of the season and a game that I'll probably never forget.

That's a freaking travesty, man ... that was the best of the year! Not only was it an amazing last-second 3-point shot, but there was an incredible steal of the inbounding ball. That whole play was on the level of the Bird steal from Zeke in the playoffs in '87, where he dished it to DJ for the win. I had the same exact reaction I did then, and it was just as good a play. Shows you what an agenda the NBA and the media have going ... truly a shame that wasn't included.

That is indeed a travesty, that is the epitome of a buzzer beater, the C's had no business getting the ball, and Ray never should have been able to shoot that wide open. The best part about that play is Gorman's reaction, it's a mix of shock, joy, and throw in a little evil laughter.

Guys, NBA.com differentiated between buzzer-beaters and game-winners.  On the "game-winners" video, Powe's putback against the Twolves was #8, and Ray's shot against Charlotte was #1.

Thank goodness ... I would have seriously lost sleep over that one. As it is, I was composing a letter to David Stern! (not seriously)
