Danny Ainge (who could move up with his gm job)
Don Nelson
Don Chaney

side thoughts:
If Ray Allen is here for 5 years total (or more)  and we win another championship he moves up in a big jump (i can't put him up for only 2 years) (kg same idea but i would have him in top 25 already)

ml carr?  ::)

Nelson
Ainge
Luscutoff (I know he wasn't a great player, but Red liked him enough to make him a big contributor - in minutes - on the first championship teams, and he stuck around long enough to win 7 titles.)

Next for me: Allen, Chaney
Go Celtics.

2. You can include off-the-court performances.
Although only former or current players are eligible, it is perfectly fine to include Tommy`s contributions as a coach and broadcaster, Danny Ainge`s work as a GM or Dave Cowens´ nap on a parkbench after celebrating with the fans in 1974 in your evaluation.

I feel like Ainge is getting shafted here.  He deserves more credit for taking this team out of the trenches and turning them into a champion for the first time in over 20 years.   A LOT more credit.

Ainge gets my vote easily

Once again doing what I can when I can to keep Antoine Walker off this list. He just doesn't belong on a Celtic list of all-time greats unless it's one of all-time over-rated Celtics.

agreed. considering the parameters of the ranking, he should've been top 20.

gentlemen Ainge's tenure as GM is still new, he could move up in ranking quite a bit with title #2 and #3 etc
I seem to remember when he traded al & delonte and even gerald that many people were slamming him.  He has assembled a team that is top tier nba so I feel his ranking will improve the longer he is here.  ML Carr on the other hand any chance he had of top 40 as a player went down the tubes with his gm work
